I happened to be watching the trial’s feed on CSPAN’s website. It’s still on in the background and now I’m listening to people calling in to comment. Holy smokes. Not sure how long I can listen to this lunacy. But at the same time I can’t look away. ---

She asked Trump’s lawyers for a detailed timeline of steps he took to end the rioting. They said since the dems rushed the impeachment, there was no time to investigate what he did to put together a timeline. ---

So the defense’s answer to every question is “we don’t know because of the rush to impeachment.” Funny that the prosecution had the exact same amount of time to put together a rock solid case. ---

So Trump’s defense just argued that Tuberville lied when he said that he told Trump that they had just moved Pence - before Trump’s tweet occurred. I, and multitudes of others, are asking snarkily, why we can’t have witnesses? Tuberville under oath would be like prime time pay-per-view quality entertainment. So I ask this: has that shipped sailed? Is there still a possibility of a vote on witnesses? I thought we were watching the final act. ---
