I’ve never been fond of social media. This is where I get most of my news as well.
I do occasionally pop onto Reddit but I have to behave after last year’s storm of bans.
I still have my Facebook open but only for a Family Picture Album group.

And Noem and the administration claiming that the Venezuelan situation is better now ([Uh, Maduro is still in power Mr Tacolini](https://www.amnesty.org/en/documents/amr53/0178/2025/en/)).
Together with reports of military moves against Venezuela. This can get ugly.
Trump can think that if he could get rid of Maduro, then there would be peace \*\* and a reason to send the Venezuelans home. Forgetting that militias or gangs will likely get stronger if there is an intervention by the US there.

Left wing disappointment over Trump still surviving on the back nine may be as profound as that of right-wingers who [last year](https://www.nbcnews.com/tech/internet/joe-biden-dead-dying-covid-vegas-theory-musk-x-elon-rcna163248) were eagerly awaiting the announcement that Biden was dead.
Too bad that so many Trump haters have fallen into the same trap as Biden despisers.

IMO it’s been a mixtture of steroids (perhaps novel to the rich), HGH (though his head - and certainly his hands have not grow) and perhaps other chemicals that are keeping him going,
Back In 2016 when he was debating and sniffling A LOT - it was clear he’d sniffed coke or speed. Yet those won’t invigorate a 79 year old day to day. Need other things.
However, they probably come at a cost to heart and brain conditions. Heck, a year ago Biden made me sad to hear and move.
Trump is going to die of the things he’s using to live.
I do not believe three plus years of the Hillbilly Elegy won’t keep the GOP from primarying him. If Trump lives still, that’s moot.
