As old as LG is (age 71), the early entries may have been 12 when he met them 50 years ago, but they’re in their 60s now. ---

That’s plausible. There may be quite a range. But back to the military being ordered to fill out the numbers—there was something approaching a reasonable explanation for them filling out the numbers at the White House Lawn Fight (given that there were storms expected and the likelihood that spectators could have been in at least minor danger of lightning strikes). Maybe it’s the same for tomorrow: let the troops deal with the danger of heatstroke! But then again: why? Is it important to national security to fake “a crowd” for Donald? Or just important to Donald’s ego? ---

If he dies before the November election it’ll draw a sympathy vote that benefits MAGA. Not good. Don’t discount the idea that Trump bragged about making a long speech in 107 degree heat just to troll enemies who hope he drops dead. His remaining sense of self-preservation won’t allow him to take a major risk. ---
