The question is if the forces behind the Republicans would organize them effectively without Trump or not, I would prefer not to chance it until after the midterms, at least. ---

The powerful people at the top would still be able to rally around and cause trouble when Trump farts himself to death, but the rabid fanbase of voters would fall away quite quickly, I think. ---

So did Trump deliver a very long speech in the heat today, thereby proving he can do anything? He was blathering on my alarm clock-radio at 7am Pacific time, 10am Eastern time, so maybe he beat the heat a little by starting early? I guess he didn’t faceplant from it, but how did it go otherwise? ---
