At some point upthread, someone mentioned that this is Trump projecting (at least WRT the “sick” comment), because that’s what he does. But, that “he’s way out of shape” comment seems like it’s maybe more related to Trump talking about guy’s asses (and shoulders and hands and feet) lately. He seems to be “examining” male bodies lately. There’s nothing wrong with thinking to yourself “That guy has a great ass”, the issue is when he talks about that _instead_of whatever he’s there to talk about. ---

I vaguely remember these two embassy workers from Iran responded to the demand to Trump’s tirade by joking that one lost the key to the strait and the other responding that it was underneath the flowerpot. It’s too bad it broke down negotiations but the diplomats’ humor was welcome for sure. ---
