A question I have relating to the OP: It seemed like, during Trump’s first term, he played a lot of golf. During this term, however, I haven’t heard anything about him playing golf. Is this an accurate impression, or have I just missed the blurbs about his golfing? I ask because, going from a lot of golf to no golf might be a sign of declining health. One senior I know said that, unless health prohibited it, he planned on dying on the golf course. LOL ---

Maybe The Villages Golf Cart Drill Team. Actually it is the first day of establishing him as a real President. Like they did Reagan. Rename Washington National Airport and stuff like that to begin his mythology. The pageantry is an important part of it. Of course there will be large, good natured crowds celebrating his demise, some singing ‘So Long Its Been Good to Know Ya” as the coffin passes. ---

He could die from a heart attack at anytime, like pretty much any man his age. Other than that I see nothing to suggest he is dying. Its as rediculous as expecting him to actually face consequences for all the horrible things he has done. I don’t think he was ever above average in intelligence and has always been amazingly ignorant. He never had any intellectual curiosity and never worked for anything in his life. As much as I would love for him to face justice and end his days in a supermax prison, that isn’t going to happen. I want him to leave this mortal world as quickly as possible. Maybe with a little humiliation first. Maybe have an initial stroke during a news conference wherein he sings and dances the “I’m a little teapot” song. Maybe get completely paralyzed and have to lie in bed and watch Melania make out with Rosie O’Donnell. I’d be willing to bet that the Fox and OANN anchors have been watching tapes of North Korean news anchors wailing and gnashing their teeth announcing the deaths of past Kim dictators and practicing their own on air hysterical crying for when that happy day comes. For me, the happiest days of my life have been my wedding day and the births of my children. When a moderator changes the last word of the title of this thread from “dying” to “DEAD!” that will rank right up there. I remember turning on the television the morning after he went to hospital with covid, hopeful that the happy news would be announced. I look forward to the real deal with even more joyous anticipation. As much as I would love to piss and/or smear feces on his tombstone, that isn’t going to happen. I’m sure there will be security cameras over the grave and the local authorities would love to beat anyone doing so within an inch of his life. I’ll have to content myself with squealing with glee at the top of my lungs and doing the worm dance on my front lawn. I’m not worried about Vance- the cult is non-transferable. I don’t think the MAGA crowd will gravitate to him as a natural successor. ---

People have been talking about how age and infirmity should soon take him out since his first term. But, no. He’s got the best medical care and a large support network to keep him propped up if need be. (And if a Deus-ex-machina were in the cards I’d rather take a freak yatch incident resulting in Russ Vought and Stephen Miller becoming brunch for a pod of orcas. There’s been a ton of blather on Twitter about Trump supposedly being on the verge of death based on selected photos and videos (and apparently false reports about him no longer playing golf), so it’s not surprising to see a Death Watch on the Dope. Trump is an old guy, and while things increasingly don’t function as well as one ages and bits begin to fall off, that doesn’t mean that death is imminent. Regarding the hand bruising - whatever the cause, old people bruise more easily. It could be that as speculated he’s gotten some IVs in that hand, or alternately the bruising could’ve been caused by lots of hand-shaking and/or Cabinet members competing to see who can kiss his hand (or other body parts) most forcefully. As for cognitive issues, given how weirdly obnoxious his rantings and ravings have been in the past, it’s impossible to assess from afar just what his mental status is, despite efforts from some docs who should know better. Whatever decay is taking place, his medical caretakers, staff and MAGA leaders will be taking great pains to conceal it. While it’s the desire of some here to have a painfully slow Trump decline, there’s no telling what an increasingly demented President with a history of illogically aggressive policies might do, especially with no responsible individuals daring to stop him. I suspect the Administration horror show has quite a long time to continue unfolding. ---
