Okay, fine. By voting for Trump and Pence, you make abundantly clear what you value and don’t value, where you stand on whether health care is a luxury or whether gay conversion therapy works or whether climate change is real or any one of a number of issues. And that’s fine for you. But please stop pretending that anyone else’s lives besides yours is going to improve, assuming you care. Maybe the poor people with preexisting conditions don’t deserve to be treated or have money. Maybe gay teenagers should be sent to camps by their parents whether they want it or not. Maybe global warming is a hoax. But you can’t then be surprised that those people, and any other who disagree, think you’re heartless or homophobic or whatever, and say so. Don’t cry about your hurt feelings. What sort of response do you expect? “You disagree with my fundamental humanity and don’t care about my suffering, but gosh darn it, I respect your point of view!” Doesn’t that strike you as absurd? ---

Until liberals stop acting so pompous and holier than thou while still being corrupt when in office they won’t understand the motivations of a large percentage of those who did vote for Trump. Most of my family on my fathers side died in the camps. Because, you know, Germans said it was just doom laden hyperbole. Apologist deniers will keep right on denying. Doesn’t mean they are right.
