There was also the time during his first term when he was to host the college football national championship team for dinner. Because of a budget related government shutdown, the regular White House chefs were unavailable. So instead his staffers placed large quantities of various fast food items in the reception room. There was a photo of him standing proudly showing the piles of Big Mac sandwiches and such. At the time he owned a hotel and restaurant in Washington DC. He could have catered t he e dinner from there, at his own expense, of course. But instead he served cold congealed fast food sandwiches. ---

I’m sure that Trump would really prefer the even bigger Airbus A380. Qatar Airways has 8, so could easily spare one for him. Of course it’s not American made, but the White House and Fox can just rename it the Boeing A380, so no problem! ---

There’s a whole boneyard of basically abandoned jet airliners out in the American desert someplace. Yes, in private life Trump flies an old used 757, but only because he’s an idiot. Elon Musk, who possesses wealth that Trump can only dream about, is perfectly fine in an ordinary Gulfstream long-range business jet. ---
