I was just wondering how far people on the left are willing to excuse it. Kneeling during an anthem at a football game - ok. Kneeling during Taps at the Tomb of the Unknown? I called out a veteran on this last time this was big. He tried to argue I didn’t respect veterans. I told him that I respect veterans who don’t argue against freedom of speech. Got him to admit that he had no right to try and silence me. It was nice. ---

How delusional do you have to be to think that you can harm someone’s freedom of speech by merely arguing with them? Oh, I get it. You’ve never actually ever convinced anyone of anything before, so the idea that I might have changed his mind must’ve been me doing some magic voodoo to make him say those things. I’ve since also told him how offending you is the point, since you aren’t offended by the injustice these guys are protesting. And that the only way to get them to stop would be to start pushing for plans that would fix the racial disparity in cops. If, say, he started pushing for cops who killed people unnecessarily to go to jail and face time. This whole thing would be over if you’d just listen. But you’d rather create dictatorial levels of requiredpatriotism. Stand and pledge to precious leader, or be punished! ---
