The only attempt of his to give a serious answer that I’ve seen was that he thinks we can “re-negotiate” international trade deals to bring manufacturing back to the US. In practise that has to mean protectionism, tariffs on imported goods. Problem is, even if companies moved factories back to the US the jobs wouldn’t come back as due to automation they need a lot less workers than they used to. That and kicking out illegal immigrants would supposedly create more jobs for citizens, shitty jobs that no one wants to do, but hey its a job. ---

Probably jobs that already exist. Trump has been lying about unemployment figures throughout his campaign. So if he gets elected, all he has to do is start using the true figures and claim a success. ---

Easy Peasy: There will be several million freshly opened jobs once the magical deportation of illegals occurs on Week (or is it Day) 1. You complain that those are low-wage jobs? Well from the POV at the top \*all \*jobs are low-wage jobs. Any differences between them are just statistical noise. ---
