I’m sure that somewhere in the L.A. metroplex, SOMEBODY is going to be robbing a business, destroying personal property, and maybe even blocking streets, but it doesn’t seem to be happening in the areas I’m seeing, no matter what the RWNJ press is saying. ---

Whether it’s shooting them at checkpoints, or “accidentally” blowing up their hotel room with a missile. I expect those two reporters were very much shot on purpose, both to discourage others and just out of general hatred for reporters. ---

Do try to keep up. There’s even a convenient video here that you can watch of the incident. The reporter was 1) not in a fucking war zone and 2) wasn’t shot by the military. She was shot by **the police** which are, in fact, not part of the military. The same way a protest isn’t a war zone. You can even tell because said reporter isn’t wearing the [ubiquitous blue non-threatening body armor](https://www.safeguardarmor.com/products/press-vest#:~:text=The%20Press%20Vests%20non%20aggressive,front%20and%20back%20SAPI%20pockets.) with the word “PRESS” emblazoned on it that they wear when they are in actual war zones. ---

That you haven’t managed to find my side of the argument after replying to two posts explaining it very clearly really says something: that you are exceptionally stupid. Once more in small sentences for you: 1. She was not shot by the military. She was shot by the police. 2. She was not shot in a war zone. She was shot filming a protest. 3. The police is not the military, no matter how much you want to pretend it is. 4. Your aside about the military “history of killing reporters in war zones “by accident”” is thus a complete non sequitur. It has absolutely nothing to do with the topic at hand. ---

I think some folks are missing the point that the admnistration, aka our government, considers the locale chosen to be a war zone as the administration ~~pretends~~ believes that the non-US citizens are invaders and the protestors are aiding and abetting the invaders and thus are traitors themselves. So, yeah, being shot while reporting there is “danger of reporting from a war zone” because the administration is waging war. They’re waging war on our constituiton and on the people. @DerTrihs Did I get that right? ---
