I think it’s obvious, “The Apprentice - Vice President!”. The ratings would be through the roof. I imagine it would be a disaster for the campaign but who knows, it might work. If Trump gets the nomination (seeming more possible by the day) why would he not do this? ---

He can’t host a program on _ **broadcast** _ TV because of Equal Time regulations. But he certainly could host a big-time, spectacular special on cable or pay per view, complete with guest stars, location shots from around the world, special effects, fireworks, John Williams conducting the Boston Pops and a steel-cage match between the two finalists. It will be a quality product, AND Mexico will pay for it! ---

I don’t think it has anything to do with Equal Time regulations. It has to do with time on TV - whether network or cable - counting as contribution to campaign, in kind. Of course, Trump can _buy_ that time - basically running it as an infomercial. But it would be prohibitively expensive. ---

So instead of buying the time on a TV station, he buys the (fairly small) resources needed to make it available for streaming, and gets the actual networks to comment on the status of the competition as news. ---

## I continue to maintain Trump will need someone experienced as vice to offer suggestions that can then be ignored; and that Romney is the only sane choice to stand behind the Donald, tapping him on the shoulder and breathing: “_Remember, thou too are mortal._” Plus it’s a paying gig for Mitt. The only faint drawback is that Romney would become pressie if Trump snuffed it. This could be obviated by Trump hiring ninja auto-assassins to go and break in in the middle of the night and choke his vice president to death however the president dies. Good idea in any case. Trump — Romney 2016 ! ---
