Finally, I find Trump right where he belongs. In a pit. Any pit. But especially this one. 🙂 If you can terrify the Flying Nun and Gidget, how good can you be for this country? Seriously, one of our local news programs had Sally Field on this morning and they asked her what she thought about the political situation. Her words were “I am terrified for my country. Terrified of this man as a candidate and terrified of the people who support him.” Personally - although I’m less and less convinced this will happen - I’m expecting him to show up at a political event soon and yell “Surprise! Gotcha! I don’t want to be President. I just wanted to know if I could be if I wanted to.” I used to enjoy Trump on The Apprentice. In a tiny television venue, an ego-driven, fact-challenged blowhard, lording it over C-list former celebrities was entertaining. As leader of the Free World? I’m with Sally, it’s terrifying. ---

May as well put it in both threads; Ben Carson: “I wasn’t going to endorse Trump, but he offered me a job in his administration” That would be a **felony** , though I expect the Orange one to deny it and nothing will come of it unless perhaps it was recorded (which is doubtful). ---

And I’m more concerned about him lending his name to crap projects, like one in Mexico, that rope in investors because of his supposed successful record. Trump is not the first celebrity who has lent his name to a scam - but others at least apologize and don’t claim the scam was real all the time.
