Was the meeting recorded? I don’t mean secretly by Trump as in his threat to Comey (since if that was the case, I’d be astounded if the recording held anything that would harm Trump and not have been already destroyed). Was there an official recording?
I’ve read in a couple of places (I could dig out a cite if need be) that staffers were instructed to omit the exchange about the classified info from the official transcript of the meeting. I’m pretty sure the transcript is from the notes of attendees, but it’s worth asking if it’s from a recording.

Here’s a tip: if you want to make a secret disclosure to another country, you do it in, you know, secret. You don’t do it when there are media folks in the room, with their equipment to record it.
Trump is apparently okay with the Russian media having full access to him telling secrets to the Russians. It’s just those untrustworthy American journalists that he doesn’t want in the know.
