to me that was a one night stand , not an affair. The real affair was with McDougal which lasted almost a year. ---

It may well also be that she figured that, with him having a (at that time) successful TV show, it was better to have him as a potential ally, or someone who could help her advance her career in non-adult entertainment. So, maybe not a “money exchange” per se, but she was hoping to curry favor with him. ---

I’m not quite sure which thread to post this in - posting here as well If the ‘affair’ was in 2006 - and the threat in 2011 - why was money paid in 2016? ---

The goon part was interesting to me. I’m sure Cohen used only a limited set of goons, so I suppose the press is right now running around trying to track this one down. Track him down, make him talk, get him to testify that Cohen ordered the intimidation, and watch the shyster get disbarred. ---

She probably expects to make a healthy profit off of all of this, both from book deals and the like and from boosted sales of her existing works. She might have negotiated some percentage of that with her lawyer.
