I can see the argument that, as she tried to remember the guy, her memory filled in the gaps with familiar faces, including her ex-husband. This is not a criticism of Daniels. Everyone’s memory is crap. Or, as **kenobi 65** says, the sketch just looks like a lot of people. Then again, I am really intrigued by the possibility that it’s Matthew Calamari, Jr. I dunno. I go back and forth between thinking the sketch is a stupid publicity stunt and thinking it was a clever way to get Trump, et al., to say something stupid. ---

If it can be shown that Cohen hired this guy (and who else would?) that’s a lot worse than election finance violations and bank fraud. In my book, at least. Seems worth a shot. ---

Cohen could be in far worse trouble than I imagined. [How Much Trouble Is Michael Cohen In? – Mother Jones](https://www.motherjones.com/kevin-drum/2018/04/how-much-trouble-is-michael-cohen-in/) A mob attorney says he told Trump that Cohen was likely to sing. That’s not the interesting part. The interesting part is that Trump hasn’t pushed back and the lawyer isn’t saying no comment - he’s gabbing about this in 2 hour interviews. The wrong sort of people might get the wrong idea. In other news, TPM reports that mobsters used a night club owned by Cohen’s father in law as their base some years back, when Cohen was wet behind the ears. The leading Russian mobster worked in an office there. ---

Cohen has dropped his defamation suits against BuzzFeed and Fusion GPS. Cohen has flatly denied being in Prague at the time in question. I think it is pretty safe to assume that the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York has irrefutable evidence that Cohen was in Prague and had that meeting. Plus what JohnT said. ---
