Sorry, but settling this case was absolutely a no brainer. It simply tells me that he was finally convinced by enough lawyers that this was not a battle worth fighting. What kind of lawyers are you talking about here? The ethical kind, who would advise a client to settle because the evidence and the law are against him? Or the ones that see an avalanche of billable hours and a case that could tie up the various appeals courts until their grandchildren graduate college? ---
