> He already said don’t let Muslims in and do surveillance on mosques or ban them. So the next step logically will be internment camps. So let’s see if he says that by the end of today.

who ever said internment camps? This is a [matter of calling the enemy what it is](https://www.yahoo.com/news/democrats-problem-radical-islam-091643745.html?ref=gs), not interning anyone or banning even citizens/foreign leaders. Its [what Bill Maher said](http://www.realclearpolitics.com/video/2016/03/05/maher_if_americans_have_to_choose_between_a_party_that_wont_even_say_islamic_terrorism_and_trump_theyll_choose_trump.html).

My point is that Trump is gonna try to own this issue, and if Hillary can’t beat back the left on trying to keep her from using the term ([one she once used](http://amicc.org/docs/Clinton%202_13_05.pdf)), he could use it rather effectively.

It’s only 9:45am.

Maybe he’ll say gays are the new Jews instead.

Yes, I’m sure that if Obama or Clinton had used that phrase, this shooting would never have happened.

Some reason why you think that phrase has magical powers?

it helps the Dems look tougher on terror and takes away a Trump potential advantage. He’s still a danger to democracy and if they don’t want him to win, they’d better just listen to Bill Maher and use the phrase before he starts hammering it on the campaign trail.

I’d agree terrorism can be a wild card, anybody would. Using or not using one word isn’t going to make a difference in how that plays out. Harping on the word isn’t additive to the republican playbook.

Screw this shit. First of all, the phrase “Islamic terrorism” isn’t some magic talisman that prevents further attacks. It does nothing but offend our Muslim friends that we need to help fight terrorism. Second, I’m sick of Republicans masturbating every time there’s a terror attack. 9/11 was the happiest day of Cheney’s life and probably Gu911ani’s as well. If Trump thinks he can milk this attack to score points, fuck him with a sharp stick. The more hatred that comes out of the likes of that pinhead, the more it fans the flame of terror.

Always remember this -

The US is relatively safe from Islamic terror \*only \*because of its geographic location. Not due to your democrat politicians or your superpower status.

Forget Trump and everyone else, just remember this truth and make your decisions accordingly. Do not ever forget this fact in your attempt to support your favorite party or candidate.

Have you not seen the last 12 months? This guy WILL try to gain political points from it. Do we have a reason to believe otherwise?

Who does it actually offend? Citizens or governments? You really need to read [this article](https://www.yahoo.com/news/democrats-problem-radical-islam-091643745.html?ref=gs), not written by some conservative, but actually by a Hillary biographer. The doctrinaire progressive line on this issue isn’t only wrong, but it could help send Donald Trump to the White House, which would be a lot more detrimental to America’s relations with other places than simply using the term “Islamic terrorism.” And more detrimental to our Republic as well.

It also helps ISIS further their “Islam vs. The West” narrative. It also encourages Jimbob McRacist to ostracize and attack his neighbors who aren’t big fans of Jeezus. I mean, seriously, do you really think the reasons democrats stopped using the term is just because of _political correctness_?

Yeah, it makes them lose face with the morons who think all our problems would just go away if we kicked out all the muslims. But the fact of the matter is, we could call it Lavender-Scented Panty Wipes and so long as we all knew what we were talking about, it wouldn’t make a lick of difference. Or what, do you honestly believe that Obama doesn’t know that a lot of this terrorism is coming from Muslims? That he declines to call it “islamic terrorism” because he’s somehow in denial that an enemy literally calling themselves “Islamic State” is Islamic? The only place he’s that stupid is in the diseased mind of Rush Limbaugh.

Interesting how all kinds of people including Hillary and Bernie are tweeting sympathy for the victims, while Trump’s response is “Really bad.” What a warm, caring individual. I guess he doesn’t approve of losers who get shot.

That, or he’s afraid of losing votes by showing sympathy for gays.

We’ve already seen how Trump’s supporters are spinning it.

> At precisely 7 a.m. Sunday Dan Patrick tweeted a photo with the words of Galatians 6:7. The verse reads, “Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.”

Patrick is my states Lt Gov & a true piece of work. He was more a Cruz fan than a Trump fan, but I’m sure he’ll support His Party’s Choice.

Well, **Johnny Ace** already pointed at what they are saying, Trump just demonstrated how hard is to show open sympathy for gay people as he has to keep many of the rank and file happy. And I have to add that I do think that Trump joining the NRA to the hip recently will also not be easy for Trump to spin in his favor **if** it turns out that lax gun laws allowed the terrorist to arm himself.

Scratch that. It only took almost four hours for Trump and his handlers to decide it was OK to tweet sympathies.

5:07 am

“Really bad shooting in Orlando. Police investigating possible terrorism. Many people dead and wounded.”

8:45 am

“Horrific incident in FL. Praying for all the victims & their families. When will this stop? When will we get tough, smart & vigilant?”
