> As noted, what you did here and before is actually pointing at evidence of why we should counter disinformers, and also why to vote against them.

If Trump hadn’t won there would be no talk of social media needing to monitor speech. This is a new era. The sheeple are tuning out of mainstream media. Social media has allowed them to see what is really going on. The globalists are going berserk: they want to go back to when the sheeple were easily brainwashed by the mainstream media. They shut down Alex Jones as part of that attempt. We need to vote all republican to stop a bogus impeachment of Trump, who is standing up to the globalists for the American people.

That is a silly post after seeing the evidence that Dice, Dotcom and Donald reach a global audience and use it to mislead many.

Piffle.

Seeing how the evidence points to a lot of global corruption in the financial world as being a suporter of Trump, it is clear that what I observed years ago stands. Fighting against that global corruption is also a fight to counter the rise of the new fascism seen growing around the world.

> Saakashvili showed Trump around Tbilisi, the capital, and Batumi. Georgian television covered the events fawningly, promising viewers that Trump would soon build a second tower, in Tbilisi. One broadcaster proclaimed that Trump was the world’s top developer. At the groundbreaking ceremony in Batumi, Saakashvili said that the tower was “a big deal . . . that changes everything around here.” At another event, beneath a banner that proclaimed “trump invests in georgia,” he thanked Trump for being part of the project—which, he said, had a budget of two hundred and fifty million dollars. He also awarded Trump the Georgian Order of Brilliance. Trump, in turn, praised Saakashvili. “Everybody in the world, they speak of Georgia and the great miracle that’s taking place,” he said.
>
> Upon returning home, Trump appeared on “Fox and Friends.” Gretchen Carlson, the host at the time, asked him, “What are you going to be investing in?” He responded, “I’m doing a big development there—and it’s been amazing.” He said of Saakashvili, “He’s one of the great leaders of the world.”
>
> Virtually none of the things that Saakashvili and Trump said about the deal were true. The budget of the Trump Tower Batumi was not two hundred and fifty million dollars but a hundred and ten. Trump, meanwhile, could hardly have invested such a sum himself. He professed to be a billionaire, but a few months earlier an appeals court in New Jersey had shut down Trump’s legal campaign against Timothy O’Brien, the author of “TrumpNation,” which argued that Trump had wildly inflated his fortune, and was actually worth less than a quarter of a billion dollars. Julie George, a political scientist at Queens College who studies Georgia, told me that, by 2012, Saakashvili’s tenure could in no way be considered a “great miracle.” The country’s economy was floundering, and shortly after Trump’s visit it was revealed that the government had been torturing political opponents. (Saakashvili did not respond to requests for comment.)
>
> The announcement of the Batumi tower was handled with cynical opportunism by both Trump and Saakashvili, but that was not the deal’s biggest problem. The developer that had paid Trump and invited him to Georgia—a holding company known as the Silk Road Group—had been funded by a bank that was enmeshed in a giant money-laundering scandal. And Trump, it seemed, had not asked many questions before taking the money.

The more painful the grounds for resentment, the easier it is for a fascist leader to gain followers by dangling the prospect of renewal … .”
>
> Albright’s portrayal of fascist leaders as “secular evangelists” rings true today in an America where right-wing evangelicals who claim to be Christians genuflect to Trump, a politician and plutocrat who has shown no regard for such Christian doctrines as stewardship of Earth’s environment and concern for the downtrodden. She warns about religious and political charlatans who “spread lies on phony websites and Facebook.”
>
> Authoritarian dictators like Hitler and Stalin consolidated their regimes through the technique of “the big lie.” Albright writes that the “first rule of deception” is that “repeated often enough, almost any statement, story, or smear can start to sound plausible. The Internet should be an ally of freedom and a gateway to knowledge; in some cases, it is neither.”
>
> Waging political war against the press is an earmark of fascism mentioned in both of these new books, and Trump has used the Stalinesque term “enemy of the people” and his own phrase “fake news” to excoriate American media that don’t follow the Trumpian party line.

Supporters of Trump think that they are doing a good thing but they are in reality supporting ignorance to enrich global criminals. Corrupt leaders or wannabe enablers like Trump are twisting nationalism to protect that corruption.

Sure, there would have been such talk. Even if he had lost the election, the lies that he spread using that media and the efforts of his Russian friends to foster his campaign would have required attention to ensure that such underhanded stunts were not employed in future elections. Mueller’s probe is an extension of an FBI investigation that was already under way before the election, regardless who won.

You are correct that this is a new era. The laws that were written over hundreds of years to provide a balance between allowing freedom of speech while preventing fraud and libel in printed media have to be reconsidered in light of electronic and interactive media. That hardly makes the abusers of such media, such as Jones, the good guys in this reconsideration. Jones has used his “pulpit” to promote lies and libels, attacking people in ways that are personally painful.

Your use of the word sheeple is interesting in that it indicates a disdain for the general public while favoring and promoting those who prey upon the public.
Similarly, your use of the word globalist, a dog whistle frequently employed to mean a massive Jewish conspiracy, harkens back to the long discredited _Protocols of the Meetings of the Learned Elders of Zion_.

Your choice of language, denigrating two separate groups of people, calls into question your sincerity and suggests that your information, to say nothing of your sources, can be dismissed as more conspiracy claptrap.

People claiming to be anti-facist support deplatforming Alex Jones, a facist act. You can’t win on substance, so you paint your opponents as racist, sexist, etc. And when there is no actual evidence of that, you say it is there but you don’t hear it because it is like an inaudible dog whistle. Complete BS.

Meh, Jones is yet another very, very bad example to use, and as a source.

What action by the Government has ‘deplatformed’ Alex Jones? Is he in prison? is he now suddenly unable to speak or get his message out?

Quite the contrary - while his ‘free publicity’ on a couple of websites may no longer be there, he is still quite free to spew his bullshit all over the internet - he just has to pony up the resources to do so.

Alex Jone’s BS is obvious BS - he’s been beat on substance multiple times - just a few of the sites he took advantage of got tired of giving him the platform to spew his BS.

The country is doing great under Trump. So great the globalist elite are censoring his supporters. That should make you want to vote all Republican in the midterms, so they won’t succeed with the bogus impeachment nonsense. You don’t have to be a republican. I’m not. This is the globalist elite vs. the American people.

Kim Dotcom started a search engine? That’s news to me.

What was interesting about it? Much is made of the fact that they were disappointed by Trump’s victory, (they do tend to be smart, after all), and not one person voiced the opinion that they should mess with their algorithms or change their decision logic to harm pro-Trump expressions.
So, we have a bunch of geeks expressing political passion and holding to an ethical business model.
I guess that could be interesting. I would say expected.
