I’m surprised he doesn’t piss on the Resolute Desk in order to mark his territory. The point he wants to make is “I’m the most important person in the room and you’re not”. If you had a birthday party as a kid, what would your mother say if you told her to make sure you had the biggest piece of cake? She’d probably say that you’re the host and you need to treat the others at least as well as you treat yourself. Apparently Donald had poor parenting or this is one more example that rules do not apply to him. ---

Embarrassing for Trump, if disturbingly normal. Not really embarrassing for the BSA, other than a “Oh God, what did he do now?” response. Definitely not worth the anger I’ve seen from some people towards the BSA, and I suspect are generally people who want any excuse to bash National or the entire organization. ---

**HurricaneDitka** , did you even read the “two scoops” story? The policy isn’t “Trump likes ice cream, and so he gets two scoops”. That would be such a non-story that it probably wouldn’t even show up on a slow news day, even with a Trump-obsessed media. The policy is “Trump gets two scoops, _and everyone else gets one_”. Unless you’re going to assert that nobody else who’s ever attended a White House dinner has ever asked for a second scoop, yes, that is exactly a puerile dominance game. ---

Right after he tries to associate the BSA with his administration he fires/bans transgendered individuals from the military…via Twitter. Does the BSA require Scouts to respect and honor a President that does not respect and honor _them_?
