I forced myself to watch most of it but skipped around. He said the same things he always says, the economy was the greatest ever, we turned the corner on COVID, he has already put out several health care plans etc. Then at the end he complains for a couple of minutes that Stahl dared to ask him tough questions. The interview is not going to help him, not sure if it will hurt him ---

The Chiefs @ Broncos game will be on just before 60 minutes. Usually the games go long so 60 minutes gets pushed back. Just a FYI if you decide to record the show. ---

I have not seen the footage yet, but read the [writeup](https://www.nytimes.com/live/2020/10/22/us/trump-biden-debate-tonight#trump-posts-60-minutes-interview-he-ended-after-calling-lesley-stahls-questions-no-way-to-talk) in the New York Times, which quotes him, “I see Joe Biden getting softball after softball; I’ve seen all of his interviews, he’s never been asked a question that’s hard.” The man is the freaking POTUS and he’s complaining that he gets hard questions? What kind of wimp is he? ---

I’m trying to imagine the reaction if any other POTUS or world leader made the same complaint. Like what if Jimmy Carter in 1980 complained to Mike Wallace, “Hey, why aren’t you asking tough questions of Mr. Reagan?” They’d be laughed off the world stage. ---

yes, but I’m sure Trump felt justified breaking the agreement. Because, you know, _tough questions_… They should have put in a penalty clause so he’d owe them money. ---
