He wished Rob Porter well when he was accused of beating his wife. He wished Kim Jong Un well when it seemed he was sick. How does one get to be both a mind-reader AND a seer in one lifetime? Do you know how you and others sound when you make statements like these? You have Trump pardoning a person of a sex crime conviction before that person has been anywhere near a courtroom. Statements like these only help to support the idea being pushed by the right of the existence of Trump Derangement Syndrome. I understand being completely pissed of at having to deal with Trump’s shit for 3 and half years, but aren’t there enough stories out there about said shit that you can complain about? ---

If I had to bet, I would say Epstein had sex with minors and is guilty of at least statutory rape. ---

His posts don’t read like that anywhere but this echo chamber. It sounded a lot like one of the tenets of our justice system should be followed, and reported on, the way that is stands, now. Guilt until proven innocent may be what you wish for in anything related to Trump but that isn’t likely to change. So yeah, there is room for some doubt. ---

I don’t anything in Fiddle Peghead’s original post to say that Maxwell is innocent. All he said was that we don’t assume guilt by association. When I first saw the story, yeah, I thought she is probably guilty, if for nothing more than knowing it was happening and not doing anything to stop it, like the honest cops who watch the dirty cops and don’t speak out. And I will admit a bias, when I saw the story for the first time, I did assumed she was guilty, how could she not be being that close to Epstein? But we don’t know the truth yet, we don’t have the evidence. Maybe she is guilty, maybe she is not. Ya know convicts people before a trial? Nazis. I am actually a little embarrassed about it now. I saw headline and thought, “This will hurt Trump!” When Trump wished her well, well that is an incredibly stupid statement. He should have said something about how the trial should play out. Some poster on another thread basically said that only a guilty person would say that, Trump must be guilty and can’t say anything bad about Maxwell because she will turn on him. Well, that is absolutely possible. It is also possible that Trump had no fucking clue what Epstein and Maxwell were doing. When has he ever had a fucking clue about anything? It is also possible that Trump was having sex with under-aged girls. My gut tells me he probably did, especially with some of the things he has said about Ivanka. But I am not going to assume he did so. I am posting this because I have made the mistake on this board with criticizing some criticisms of Trump because they were not proven, only speculation, and that we should concentrate on the hundreds of ways were we knpw he is an idiot, liar, con man and a threat to the future of this country. We don’t need to add assumptions of guilt because he knew someone who knew someone who has been brought up on charges. As Jack Webb said, "Let’s stick to the (proven) facts.! ---
