trump said about the virus in a recent rally "“That’s all I hear about now. Turn on TV, ‘Covid, Covid, Covid Covid Covid.’ A plane goes down, 500 people dead, they don’t talk about it.” WTF? Hell yes, a plane crash is taken very seriously. How can anybody hear him say things like that and still think “sure, that’s a perfectly sane, functional leader”. And, BTW, with 950 deaths a day from Covid we’re having the equivalent of almost 2 “500 person” plane crashes every day. ---

I think Trump is going in the wrong direction here. He should be talking up his handling the pandemic as a positive thing. Sure, God blessed him personally by giving him the pandemic (yes, Trump has actually said this). But it was Trump alone who made sure that the United States has the worst pandemic situation in the world. And the result of his far-sighted policies is that the Mexicans are staying out of our country without us even needing to build that wall. But does the lamestream liberal fake news media give him any credit? No. ---

And trump has also ensured that no Americans can travel to any other country, being banned from almost all of them, and spend $$ outside the US, thereby helping the US economy. America First! ---

That clown said a plane went down with 500 people dead and nobody’s talking about it? Interesting. When’s the last time there was a plane crash with 500 fatalities? Maybe the reason nobody’s talking about it is that instead of pulling his head out of his ass, he just pulled that “statistics” from there. ---

Japan Airways Flight 123, August 12, 1985, unless you want to count the people in the Twin Towers on 9/11, in which case September 11, 2001. Trump is basically campaigning for Biden at this point. I mean, I’m grateful to him for that. It’s the first honorable thing he’s done since 2016. Well, okay, it’s sheer stupidity, but I’ll take it. And Meadows… I don’t know anything about him. Has he found a conscience, is he deliberately undermining Trump while trying to maintain just enough plausible deniability? His comments while Trump was ill, and now saying we can’t beat it. If it was Trump saying these things, I’d attribute it to stupidity, but I assume Meadows isn’t stupid. ---
