By the way, if Mr. Individual One does make a statement tonight, don’t expect him to hold up fingers cruelly defaced with fingerprinting ink – for years now police departments have had electronic means for taking prints from people. I know, I had mine taken a couple of years ago for a concealed carry license renewal (I’d inadvertently let mine lapse, sigh), and even my relatively small rural/suburban town had that system, so for sure NY City would be so equipped. Of course, I wouldn’t put it past Tiny Hands to try to fake it. ---

I thought this clip was interesting, it was discussing the charges, but most importantly one opinion is that Trump might go to trial over the Mar-A-Lago documents case before he goes to trial in New York for business fraud. Here are a few other comments he made: On the Mar-A-Lago documents: “As president I have the right to declassify documents and to take them with me.” On being held to account: “Our justice system has become lawless.” On Alvin Bragg: “The criminal is the district attorney. He should resign." On Judge Juan Merchan: "I have a Trump-hating judge with a Trump-hating wife.” On Fani Willis: “A racist.” On Jack Smith: “A lunatic.” Hope this helps a few bingo cards. 🙂 ---

I missed most of Trump’s speech–I had to take an important call–but from what I did hear of it, it basically boiled down to “I’m a victim, I’m being persecuted, they’re on the take.” I presume “they” in this context is primarily Alvin Bragg; and secondarily, Jack Smith, the prosecutor/investigator in the state of Georgia, and likely, the January 6 Committee. And probably something about Soros. Is there a transcript available anywhere?
