I’m kind of surprised there’s no “Lots of wild claims and lies about people invading us and how that justifies the shutdown, but fundamentally nothing new” nothingberder option. ---

I feel like he’s trying to build anticipation and tension, with the hopes he’ll attract trillions upon quadrillions of viewers. And then, once the camera’s on, he’ll continue to be completely unreasonable and demand Chuck and Nancy come to the WH and give in to his demands while blaming them for the lost paychecks and weak border. It’s all about publicity and attempting to control the coverage for him rather than actually being a leader. ---
