Did Trump ever get cleared by the FBI? before he gets to appoint all these people. And isn’t he disqualified to be sworn in? “… who, having previously taken an oath, as a member of Congress, or as an officer of the United States, or as a member of any State legislature, or as an executive or judicial officer of any State, to support the Constitution of the United States, shall have engaged in insurrection or rebellion against the same, or given aid or comfort to the enemies…” (part of 14th amendment) ---

No one can decide who has the authority to enforce the 14th Amendment, unless he is impeached by the House and convicted by the Senate. ---

Actually, the Supreme Court decided who had the authority to enforce the Insurrection Clause in _Trump v. Anderson_ – it’s Congress. The ruling found that neither the states nor the courts can declare a candidate ineligible for office under Section 3 unless an Act of Congress explicitly grants them that power. ---

I assume Fear\_Itself was referring to Federal office but as pointed out, they are still wrong as a conviction on the federal insurrection law carries with it an automatic ban from federal office. ---

I assumed Kimberly Guilfoyle was Greek-American, and that’s why the nomination but, Googling, her mother was Puerto Rican and her father Irish. Not always but often the US choses an ambassador from those from that country. ---
