Beats Alice Cooper’s “A troubled man for troubled times”, one must admit.

Roger Stone has been banned from CNN and MSNBC for his repeated racist and homophobic tweets aimed at the networks’ journalists.

Of course, he still appears on Fox.

I’m not a fan of either of those former Presidents but they both had experience as governors and a basic understanding of how government works.
>
> Secondly, as regards the idea that you can surround yourself with people who basically tell you what to do and run things for you I see one insurmountable problem - Trump doesn’t appear to have the capacity to listen to others or consider the fact his ideas may not be all that good. He is surrounded by yes men and women and blusters his way from one situation to the next.

Yeah. Carter came into the White House and brought in a lot of outsiders who didn’t know how things worked. He then got stuck trying to micromanage everything, and by the time he and his cohorts started making sense of things, his reputation was set and the American people replaced him with Reagan.

So how, exactly, does he expect to identify all those undocumented workers in order to prevent them from doing the wiring?

Given the supposed pourosity of the border, perhaps just carry it back over the other way.

Says another Kool-Aid drinker. You may not see it (or simply may refuse to), but I can guarantee you anyone who isn’t a Trump supporter does. The man is _already_ doing damage to the country in the rest of the world, and he hasn’t even held any office.

Am I reading you right? You’re actually agreeing with Trump, and saying that Kasich shouldn’t be allowed to run? Sorry, buddy, this is still America. No matter how much you want it to be easier for Il Donald to be the nominee, there is absolutely no legal justification for preventing a candidate from running regardless of how many votes he gets or has gotten. I won’t even get into the ethics. Good luck selling it, though.

And you may be projecting your own fears, but don’t even think about trying to characterize me in any way, shape, or form. You’ve got your head so far up Trump’s ass you can’t see.

It appears Drumpf knows nothing about Abraham Lincoln other than his rep for greatness:

I want to see the followup question “What important thing, specifically?” Drumpf would try his “This is a great looking group of people” schtick again, and Woodward would respond “Uh, other than your staff and bodyguards, it’s just me. So, back to Lincoln…”

Maybe the Western Union offices will be required to keep a [Pantone color chart for skin color](http://jezebel.com/5925196/the-pantone-chart-of-every-human-skin-color) on the office wall, and if you are past a certain level of brown-ness, you’re not allowed to wire money to Mexico…
Good God. A 10 year old child could poke logical holes in Trump’s “plan”. It is ludicrous and nonsensical on it’s face. At this point, I have to say that Trump’s policy statements must appeal only to mildly retarded racist women-haters.

It sells itself. Voters already decided that they don’t want Jeb or Rubio. If Trump has the most delegates and votes, but doesn’t get the nomination due to establishment machinations, the GOP will simply be self-administering a coup-de-grace. Trump has them down, is dominant, and is trying to complete the arm bar. If it works, the GOP will then have to tap out and submit to avoid mortal injury.

You know, I hate to defend Trump’s ridiculous plans but, people could try to be less ridiculous when criticizing them. It’s already state law in a lot of place to show ID when voting but the the concept of showing ID to wire money flew right by you? Like you couldn’t make specific laws about cash transfers to Mexico? Gee, I guess all those sanctions and bank freezes on Iranian assets didn’t actually happen because what was Obama gonna do? Have a skin color chart at every bank? FFS.

Mexico is the USA’s THIRD LARGEST TRADING PARTNER with over 500 BILLION in trade every year.

Do you honestly think that there will be no repercussion to this idiot “plan” of Trump’s?

News Flash: Mexico is NOT Iran. There is regular postal service to Mexico. There are over 150 million legal border crossings every year. There are over 5 million truck crossings every year. There are thousands of large US businesses in Mexico. There is no way, no way on earth that transfers of money from people to Mexico could be stopped. So make all the “specific laws” you want. Ain’t gonna happen.

Trump’s proposals are unworkable, idiotic and basically just pathetic.

CarnalK, I get what you are saying. It reminds me of how people have been scoffing for years that it was logistically or financially possible to build a secure wall or fence on the Mexican border. I have never been paid in favor of building one, but I have found myself resistant to the notion that it is just unfeasible. Germany did it across their territory, and we have a much larger economy. It’s just a fence/wall, after all. Making Medicare and Social Security solvent for the rest of the century is the real challenge (one which Drumpf of course ducks).

Regardless of what ends the speeches serve, they aid in the militarization of the American working-class against the plutocratic caste. Indeed, TRUMP is our Red Army having done most of the heavy lifting in utterly eviscerating the Republican Establishment. Now the Red Army draws nigh to the portals of Berlin even as the delusional hacks of the Oligarchy gibber in their bunkers still believing in now-impossible victor.

East Germany had army troops all along the border with the BRD. Much more expensive than building a wall and providing an Immigration patrol, and we’re talking about a much longer border.

You must be seeing other news than I am. Trump is a textbook egomaniac (with a very real possibility of untreated ADHD thrown in), and his ‘pronouncements’ are the soul of ignorance, to the point of worsening our reputation around the world not only by the plain fact that there are so many deluded voters here, but that _the world_ fears the possibility of a Trump presidency. That’s on top of the clear damage that he’s already done to our relations with S. Korea, Japan, and especially Mexico. Tell me I’m reading that wrong.

Wrong. The GOP will survive no matter what Trump does. These are politicians we’re talking about here, well-schooled in figuring out and saying what people want to hear. Trump could quite definitely do damage to them, but he’s not quite the danger to them that you paint. The democratic system _and_ the GOP might even benefit from the loss of the completely deluded core of Trump supporters. Let them go form their own splinter faction that will almost never have any effect on real government. But they won’t want to, because some say is better than no say at all.

Wow. A Tourette’s Syndrome outburst of virtue signalling.

Here is what I see: You, polishing your halo. Meanwhile, Trump is way smarter than nearly everyone, way more successful, and much more in touch with the sentiments and concerns of the average American than you or any of the other candidates. And better at communicating with them. That’s why he is winning.

But just keep repeating to yourself what a poopie head he is.
