It would be much more time-consuming to check religious background. What are you going to do, go to each applicant’s hometown and question friends and neighbors? ---

Circumcision certainly narrows down what religion his parents were, but it’s certainly not going to distinguish Muslims from non-Muslims. There are more than two religions in the region, you know, more than one of which practice circumcision. Unless you’re referring to butt tattoos? ---

If Trump becomes president, I think a wall _will_ be erected along the Canadian border, and Canada _will_ pay for it, but the purpose of this one will be to keep out the fleeing Americans. ---

I really enjoyed Trump’s exchange with Alwaleed bin Talal, where he accused the Saudi prince of using the vast wealth he inherited to try to influence US politics. That level of hypocrisy is almost beautiful to behold. You’d think even Trumpy would be more self aware than that. ---

But I guess Donald does Donald’s thing… I mean sure, many of us suspect a goodly number of Trump’s support comes out of those who believe Jesus’ native language was KJV English, but still they’re supposed to believe conversion is available to all… Then again this is the guy who rererred to communion as “when I drink my little wine and have my little cracker” and nobody said jack. So I fully expect this to be given a pass as well.
