He’s a first term Senator just as Obama was. He hasn’t shown the same degree of venom and hatred that Trump and Cruz have. Executive experience- I don’t care. W and Reagan were governors and I believe the two worst presidents ever. Private sector experience- I don’t care. Running a government is different enough from running a corporation that I don’t see where it’s applicable. If it was, would that mean the only candidate we can look at is Fiorina?

That is bizarre. For the sake of argument, I’ll accept that Trump is in good health for a 69-year-old man. But for a doctor to write a statement like that in a professional capacity is odd. I can’t imagine any of the doctors I’ve interacted with saying something like, “If elected, Mr. Trump, I can state unequivocally, will be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency” or to say a patient’s lab results were “astonishingly excellent”.

I think Trump is aiming for a Kim Jong-il level of personality cult. I’m waiting for Trump to claim that he shot a 38-under par the first time he played golf, or that he wrote 1500 books. He is The Greatest Ever at Everything.

Not quite that bad, but there’s [a fair amount of evidence](https://www.washingtonpost.com/lifestyle/style/does-donald-trump-cheat-at-golf-a-washington-post-investigation/2015/09/02/f8a940b2-50c4-11e5-9812-92d5948a40f8_story.html) to suggest he does cheat at golf.

You have a drone operating on the Mexican border? Hmm. Maybe we should talk… I mean, after they deliver the food and water, they’re empty, right? Rather a waste. Just saying, is all.

He was Speaker of the Florida House, does that count as executive experience? Not that I would vote for him or anything.

I was thinking the exact same thing, it’s not enough to say that he’s very healthy, and he’s smart, and has a good memory, instead he’d be the healthiest individual ever elected to the presidency, and he’d learn everything really quickly and know more than everyone, and he has the best memory. Very Kim Jong-il like.

Also hilariously, Trump is “proud to share this health report, written by the highly respected Dr. Jacob Bornstein”, although it was actually Dr. Harold Bornstein who wrote the report, because his father Jacob is no longer Trump’s doctor, because he is dead.

I hear Trump made the doctor pay to evaluate him.

You know, the words ‘nuts’ is overused in general and politics in particular but, speaking of his health, I sure would be curious to see Trump’s complete psychological workup. The guy has a compulsive reflex to be the bestest and brightest and strongest and handsomest in the room at all times complete with the most attractive wife and the most attractive daughter and… and… [and](http://snltranscripts.jt.org/85/85bliar.phtml)…

Yeah, but without the benefit of actually achieving it. Instead, his people tell him he did it or he just believes he did it.

Trump isn’t crazy at all, but personal quirks like that get amplified when you’re running for office. Trump’s only problem is that he has an ego the size of New York without having done anything in the real world to acquire such an ego. We’d be better off with his buddy Vince McMahon, who is just as much of a blowhard but actually took a family business and grew it into a multibillion dollar empire, but also claim close enough to ruin that he’s aware of his shortcomings.

Gerald Ford, college football star and male model, seemed pretty healthy himself.

Hopefully this link to Facebook will work. Robert Reich posted about Trump’s medical evaluation. He notes that the language used sounds less like what a doctor would say and more like what Donald Trump would. He also shares a picture of the good doctor. He looks about as trustworthy as Trump.

Vox mentioned it too. Sounds like Trump hires his doctor for the same purpose he hires everyone else: To tell him what he wants to hear.

On one hand, that’s what Presidents do more often than not, so if anything that qualifies him for the job. That and having a big ego that isn’t justified by his accomplishments.

It also all but guarantees that he would be a piss poor president.
