I always wanted a tall, handsome older brother --maybe three or four years older-- who looked basically like me. That is, tall, slender, dark hair and eyes, fair skin. Except he’d be male and have nice muscles and hair where I don’t, etc. We’d have been lovers (probably not so secretly) since adolescence. Eventually he’d have to concede that I’d need to move beyond the bounds of family and find a “real” boyfriend, but we’d still be close. Just not physically anymore. Instead, I would drive it to a store to steal, or maybe buy one heck of a lot of computers, tv-tuner cards, and external hard drives. Then I would steal one heck of a lot of silver bars, AND THEN set my time machine to New Years day, 1978, so that I could live through the eighties again. I would try and make some things better for the post 1992s future, but my favorite decade I would leave alone. While I relieved the decade, I would archive all the TV output of the decade, pop-culture, toys, food, etc. Or perhaps I would simply wait for the owner to come back, and politely propose a modified version of the above, without the interference and the theft. ---
