My ex is trying to track down a TV show:

> I need help with a TV question. I have been wondering about this for a couple months and just cannot remember what the show was called. IMDB and [Ask.com](http://Ask.com) have not helped. I recall back in the late 70s or early 80s there were shows called “That’s Incredible” and “Those Amazing Animals”. There was also a show that was sort of a news investigation show, with American people as a theme. It started out kind of fluff, but towards the end of its run it was investigating some serious political issues. The staff made the mistake of running a piece about their own network - and was cancelled. I remember that one of the hosts seemed drunk on the last episode as they made the announcement that the show was cancelled, mid-season. Does anyone know what show I am talking about?

I sort of remember this but I’m not having any luck finding it either.

Any help?
Thanks.

Real People?

> Real People: With Sarah Purcell, Skip Stephenson, John Barbour, Byron Allen. After "That's Incredible" (1980) surfaced with the same format as "Real People", MAD Magazine summed it up well in their parody show: "That's Real Incredible, People".

I quite liked this show.

Peter Billingsly (the boy on “Christmas Story”) was a kid reporter on _Real People._

I thought of _A Current Affair_, but that was later, and I guess it just petered out.
