Someone made me a music mixtape years ago and I am trying to place one of the songs. Much of it wasn’t even music - it was the charismatic lead singer on stage at some large concert - and he was mostly talking, and giving commands to “everybody” to clap their hands and stomp their feet. The audience was loving it and loudly responded. The song had a 60s-70s vibe. Google makes me think this could be Quiet Riot, but I was unable to find a live version on Spotify, and the musical ones available were very different. Anyone able to identify this?” ---

Most likely not the song you’re looking for but the first thing that came to mind is the [second half of 100,000 Years](https://youtu.be/LFsNrWscqUA?t=348) from _Alive!_ by KISS ---

I’ll bet anything it’s Quiet Riot, _Stomp Your Hands, Clap Your Feet_. Here’s the live version. The audience interaction starts around 4:40. [![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/tLSkQXTdGpw/maxresdefault.jpg "Stomp Your Hands, Clap Your Feet (Live)") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tLSkQXTdGpw) ---

Hadn’t thought of that one in a long, long time. Loved it as a teenager, realized later that the lyrics are awful. ---

Maybe they _just_ included the audience part on the tape, since it wasn’t much music. I’ll have to try that link again later - it is currently being unhelpful. If there _was_ an audience part more than a couple minutes long, it was likely Quiet Riot. ---

I think it’s probably Slade ’ Get Down and Get With It’ An early minor hit in the UK for them. ---
