I saw this as a kid so my guess it came out no later than 1995. A group of 2-3 kids are staying with an uncle-type person, a real slovenly guy. One of the kids spills milk on the counter and gets upset about it. The guy says not to worry. He proceeds to then crack a couple of eggs on the counter, mixes it up, drops some bread on it, and then makes french toast. I remember it sticking in my head because I loved french toast as a kid but had no idea it was made with milk and eggs. ---

I don’t think I ever watched it, but there was an Uncle Buck TV show. Maybe it came from there? ---

Fairly certain it wasn’t the Uncle Buck TV show. I don’t think I ever watched that.
