Wow. I’m at a loss for words. I didn’t really know her, hardly ever interacted with her, but I don’t think I’ve ever read an ill word about her here from anybody. Her commitment to this place and its people was obvious; she’ll be sorely missed. ---

This is horrible, horrible news. It would be horrible at any time, but now of all times… Reality is remorseless and pitiless. She reported that she was working through the night to work on the changeover. I have to hope that the stress and loss of sleep didn’t contribute. That would be tragedy on a Shakespearean scale. ---

I messaged with her about a week ago. As always, while she had a lot of health problems herself, she mostly cared about, worried about, remembered-every-detail-about everybody else. She was larger than life. I can’t believe she’s gone. So sorry. ---

Thank you for that. She’s going to be missed around here. I still remember the Winter of Our Missed Content, when she paid for a forum for us when the board went dark due to technical issues for a couple of months. It was that important to her that the community have a home so that it would stay together. I hope we can validate the trust she had that we are a community that can continue to thrive. ---

That worried me too. I made a post somewhere complaining about the new board and worried it contributed, in a very small way (read that part again), to her stress and helped lead to this. I wish I had also said something nice in that post though. There is a lesson there. ---
