I had the same problem, so I just temporarily turned off my VPN when visiting the site. Is that difficult in your setup? I know it can be configured to block all traffic when the VPN is not active. ---

I can confirm that your information about her age is correct. She was 65 years old. Just a couple years older than me. I’m still in major shock this morning. I lost a friend that used to just call me on the phone to see how I was doing. ---

I joined in 2001. Can’t think of one day when I didn’t either read or think of the Dope since then. She was the engine of this board. She kept it going and was always there. First Lynn now Tuba. A great loss. So sad. My thoughts are with her loved ones. Thank you Jennifer from the bottom of my heart. ---

I never met Tuba Diva in person but chatted with her a couple times over e-mail years ago. A wonderful and caring person whose warmth will be missed by many at the Dope. It has not been the best year. I know nothing about her life or family; hope they are coping. ---

What was relayed to me was that her mother went to check on her after not hearing from her for ~24 hours, and she was gone, so it was apparently sudden. So incredibly sad. No word as to possible cause. ---
