I had emailed her not too long ago about merging this account with my name from the old board (Odesio), and I was wondering why it hadn’t been changed it yet. Even though she was in the middle of taking care of a bunch of problems, she found the time to email me and was so very nice. I’m sorry to hear she passed. ---

I had a “conversation” with her last week. So glad I got to express appreciation for the "new"site. And I was relieved to look back and see that I used the words “Thank you”… Was this her husband? If so, he died a year and a half ago. Words fail me. I’ve known Jenny since 1999 through the boards and she has been a steady, constant presence here. This is truly heartbreaking. To her friends and family I can only say I’m sorry. This is a tremendous loss. ---

I absolutely thought this was a joke. Then I thought, “Did we put too much work on her, with the board transfer?” Word is, she was practically working 24 hr days emailing people. She poured herself into this place. What a legacy! ---

Jenny. My friend. We were going to meet when we passed through Atlanta last year. I couldn’t make it work. God, I wish now I would have worked harder to make it work. We had been friends since 1999. I was one of the first members on the old site and Jenny and I became internet friends. She hired me as a moderator in 2004. Our phone conversations were legendary and I loved her sense of humor and quiet intelligence. She had a stroke a while back which affected her speech. The only thing I noticed was that our phone calls became a bit longer. I’ll always love my TubaJenny. Rest, my friend. You done good. We’ll take it from here. Ric ---
