I just came in here a few minutes ago, as I typically do several times a day to cruise around and see what’s new, and saw this. Still trying to process this shocking news, as in “this can’t be true, she was just here, working away as usual to move the place forward”. She was the heart and soul of this community, as would be obvious to anyone who cared to look or anyone who read any of her eloquent posts about the future of the board. I never knew her as well as some of you, and never IRL, but her basic kindness always came shining through. This is a sad, sad day. ---

This is so sad. I never knew her personally, but she was always there behind the scenes as the backbone of this board. It shows how much she was loved to see all the posters who have been gone for months and years coming back to post on this thread. ---

TubaDiva had a big heart. A long while ago, I replied in a thread musing whatever had become of a long-lost poster (not our current thread on the subject). Jenny took it upon herself to investigate, going so far as to hunt through the Giraffe boards to get clues. She PM’ed me back, and her response had a couple of lines which I think exemplify her and her relationship with the board beautifully.
