Now, let me see if I can phrase my viewpoint in a way that will be sure to be ripped apart as being “bitchy” or “snarky,” no matter what it actually says: **Tuba** and **Dex** have demonstrated through their postings in this and other threads that they regard a number of posters on this board as being worthy of snarking, contempt and veiled threats. These posters all have one thing in common: they have disagreed with a specific action taken by one of the two. I (and others) believe that when a person takes a position of authority, they are agreeing to submit themselves to a higher standard: one where everyone they come in contact with is afforded at least a degree of civility and respect. The behavior **Tuba** and **Dex** have shown through their posting, in my opinion, falls well short of that standard. They have been openly hostile to posters who enjoy this community enough to keep paying to be a part of it, and have assigned motive to posters without taking the time to actually read and understand the issue at hand. I maintain that ANY moderator who cannot be bothered to read a discussion or refrain from insulting paid posters without clearly signifying their opinions are not being spoken as a moderator should not continue in their position. And any moderator who makes threats against other posters should be dealt with in the same manner as a regular poster. So that’s what I want from all this: clearer, more consistent and less acrimonious moderation and administration. Is that too much to ask? Am I just a grumbling whiner who needs to STFU or leave? ---
