Second thought, I don’t want an “E”, thank you, 'cos then I’d have people thinking I was a ceiling or a Celine, not a “kellin”.

Other names - one I _always_ read - well, internally “hear”, wrongly is that of **Qadgop the Mercotan**. I’m not familiar with whatever mightily famous book the name comes from, so I still hear it in my head as “Quagdop”. Sorry. And I do realise that my version makes no sense at all. :smack:

I always read it as ‘Yibbiff’.

When I read ‘ **koeeoaddi** ’ I just filter out most of the letters and get ‘co-addy’. And despite knowing better I still automatically read **Qadgop** ’s title as ‘The Magician’.

I was reading yours, **Celyn** , as ‘Chellin’ and **saoirse** as ‘swar-zee’.

I had no idea my judgment was so dreadful! :smack:

People have no trouble saying my name, Russell, but it always amuses me that nearly everyone tries to spell it Russel. I have no idea why, since I have never, ever seen the first name Russell spelled with one L.

“[Don/Señor] Tipo del Autobús”

“tipo” = “guy” in this region. Don/Señor interchangeable, with “don” having privilege of seniority  
In Puerto Rico: “Don Tipo de la Guagua”

Never had trouble with **TubaDiva** , however,

I’m definitely in the group that reads ‘The Magician’ despite knowing better. 😉

For some reason **picunurse** has always been = “pick nurse”. Never saw the “u” till I saw your post in this thread.

Same here. I always read it as Kwad-gop the Merk-oh-tan. Don’t know if I’m right here.
