I’ve worked with a few surgeons that might have your brother and his Brooklyn boys curled into a fetal position sucking their thumbs. What do I win? I hate to say this to a fellow Yankees fan, but quit being a douche. I think most of us have worked with people who have no business relating to the public on ANY level. What, exactly, do those people have to do with this situation? Yes, there’s always someone worse out there and in the grand scheme of tyrants, Tuba isn’t bad. Again, so what? Other admins and mods seem to be able to do this job without the shitty attitude. Most of us wouldn’t want to do Tuba’s job. Just because we wouldn’t want to do it doesn’t mean that we don’t deserve a little respect. It’s great that she’s kind in emails and one-on-one interactions. Nobody is asking her to kiss everyone’s asses, but would it be so hard to dial back on the snottiness on just about every comment made in an official capacity? Is that really too much to ask? ---

Fair complaint, but I guess I get a little sick of \*\*Guin \*\*showing up in these threads repeating the same stale talking points. You are correct, I did take a cheap shot, but how many does \*\*Guin \*\*take in the pit threads she shows up in. Don’t you get a little sick of her yourself? I get that \*\*Tuba’s \*\*unpopular with apparently many, but this latest bit seems like a gross overreaction. I guess as someone that has not felt **Tuba** ’s jackboots the complaints about bad jokes taken out of context seem ridiculous. She is being blasted for answering a question and closing the thread. A sub-group of the Dope expects her to not be snarky. You would think that they would have gotten the idea by now that most of the Admins and Mods can be snarky at times. They take their cue from the tone of the column. ---
