I just knew Jesse Watters was going to be in line for a promotion. He’s a nasty one so I’m not sure this is going to be an improvement. ---

Yep, Watters could probably fill Tucker’s shoes. He can’t always keep a straight face when delivering BS, but that will come with practice (I know one of the things Tucker was famous for was his laugh, but there’s a difference between a deliberate, cynical, mocking laugh, and involuntarily smirking because you know what you’re saying is objectively stupid). The only question is: will anyone be allowed to be the new Tucker? I can’t imagine sensible journalism coming to FOX primetime any time soon, but there may _some_ restrictions. ---

The question is how many viewers will stay will Fox vs how many will drift to wherever Tucker goes. I’ve seen a disturbing number of people crying about how only Tucker was brave enough to tell the “truth”.
