I haven’t tucked a shirt (any shirt) into my pants in over a decade.

And all because he tucked in his T-shirt.

Tucked in t shirts really highlight the spare tire and can look a little awkward, like mom dressed you. Unless worn as an undershirt, I’d rather see casual wear worn casually.

I thought maybe I’d be clever and suggest we look at how Mitt Romney wears a t-shirt and then do the opposite, but there seems to only be one photo in the world of Mitt in a t-shirt and it’s from last week and he’s [un-tucked](http://assets.nydailynews.com/polopoly_fs/1.1207313.1353763989!/img/httpImage/image.jpg_gen/derivatives/landscape_635/alg-mitt-romney.jpg). So now I don’t know what to believe.

Hell yeah you have to tuck it in Texas. Nobody will see your belt buckle if it hangs over it. 😃

If I’m not wearing a belt it is out always. If I am wearing a belt (and no, just a regular buckle for me thanks) then it is out about 80% of the time. Sometimes with a belt it just works better tucked though.

I guess perceptions vary. When my T-shirt is tucked in, at least there’s the illusion of having a waist (even moreso if I’m wearing a belt). If it isn’t tucked in, it looks a bit like I’m wearing a muumuu.

Do not tuck.

Yup. There are very few ways quicker than this to cause a lady-boner to go flaccid.

Yeah, that is kind of true. Guy with a pretty OK sized torso – OK meaning probably twenty or thirty pounds of fat that shouldn’t be there – checking in. Yes I can touch my toes so STFU.

Still untucked T-shirt, because who gives a shit, but I think I look much trimmer with a tucked in regular shirt with a belt – draws attention away from the fact that my physique resembles Jack White or Zach Galifaniakis and towards: “There’s a snappy-looking guy – is that a zucchini in the FRONT of his trousers? Even if he’s too old to cut the mustard, I bet he can lick the jar something powerful.”

If you insist on tucking in a tshirt and belting up, choose a casual belt. (Canvas, webbing, distressed leather) I can’t post the picture of my nephew, but I’m looking at a professionally employed overweight 24 year old man sporting a faded red Angry Birds tee tucked into pleated khakis cinched with a shiny alligator belt with a dressy brass buckle. And Vans. It’s not a flattering ensemble.

Yeah. But he’s so guileless and blissfully unaware it’s almost heartening. Too bad those people who are self conscious and suffering from body dismorphic disorder can’t tap into some of what Josh has. Sometimes there’s just no middle ground.

If you’re James Dean, you get to tuck your t-shirt into your jeans. Otherwise, you need to leave it out.

I’m told that I was born wearing levi cutoffs and a t-shirt, which has been my lifelong default uniform. **Untucked, almost always**. The only exception would be when I’m going formal for a wedding or funeral, wearing a flannel shirt over t-shirt and levis.

More on-topic… I did not vote, because there no middle-of-the-road options.

Speaking of the middle of the road, that’s reserved for guys who tuck shirts of any kind into shorts, so they can be mowed down by people going in either direction. Much simpler that way.

Yep. In my case, the beer gut looks bigger with a tucked in T. Also looks uncomfortable, which it is.

Well, back in the 90’s when I was slim and fit; I tucked them in. That way I could show off my awesome ass to the ladies. (My best feature back in those days. so I’ve been told.)

Now that I’m a bit of a fat ass; I do NOT tuck them in. Now my only hope with the ladies is with the ones who are looking for a big cuddle bear to snuggle up to. 😃
(OK, I’m going to go throw up now.)

The only shirt I tuck in is one that has a tie attached to it, everything else is untucked. And on the days I feel like a pirate I don’t button the sleeves, I just let them dangle around with wanton abandon. AAAAARGHH!!
