I have Windows Vista, soon to be Windows 7 w/media center, on one drive, and I am mounting Linux/Mythtv on the other drive. I need to by a digital tuner/capture card that is compatible with both Windows and Linux. Anybody have any suggestions?

I can’t give you a specific recommendation, but I’ll cover the basics.

Windows is going to be the easy one, as manufacturers have to make them compatible with Windows to sell them, so look for ones that are compatible in Linux.
[MythTV’s wiki](http://www.mythtv.org/wiki/Video_capture_card) covers a lot of them. It specifically says to avoid ATI All-in-wonder cards and the PVR-350.

In fact, I’ve had problems with anything ATI in Linux.

I would check at [AVS Forums](http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/index.php) as well. There’s tons of advice on MythTV and pretty much any other video question you can think of 🙂
