**red** - we found out that **FCD** ’s cousins who have the virus had been to a family hayride
 while symptomatic! In fact, the husband had symptoms for over a week and still went. Idiots!! Fortunately, their elderly mother lives in a facility that has been locked down so she’s still ok. **Wheelie** - it’s not that there are no plans here. It’s that I don’t have any of my stuff at hand to occupy me. I got so bored, I folded their laundry. Even taking a walk is boring as all the houses in the neighborhood look the same. Plus, frankly, I hate Florida. Woke at 4 but not ready to get out of bed yet. Once Higgs becomes a pest, that will change. BIL is coming over to do his laundry today, and I hope we can manage a video chat with the kids. And I need to run to the ABC liquor store for the cider my daughter asked us to bring her. Beyond that, nothing. Happy Tuesday! ---

Morning, mumpers! Grim and grey again today over here, I don’t usually need the overhead light on in the morning but today I did. It’s brightened up a bit now so the light’s off again but it is a reminder that winter is not far off. My phone says it’s 51F outside today, so not exactly cold yet. **red** sorry to hear your turkey day plans have fallen through, perhaps staying at home in your jammies is a better plan in the end. **flyboy** I hope Mrs enjoyed her birthday celebrations, it sounds like you’ve put a lot of effort into making it a special day for her. **wheelie** good news about the negative test, fingers crossed for everyone else. **moooom** I hav to take lots of stuff to read, and my laptop for entertainment, if we’re vising the relatives, not because I’d necessarily be bored, but I never want to take the chance. If we are in Scotland, it usually means I can deflect the frequent offer of cream buns from his mum while I’m waiting for 'im indoors to wake himself up. **netti** sorry to hear about the bus woes, I used to time leaving the house precisely to get the bus, just a minute late and I’d see it go across the road at the bottom of the street before I was halfway down the road. Fortunately ours run on a 10-15 minute schedule so I didn’t usually have to wait too long for the next one. Now I can safely say I have not been on a bus since September, and only once at that point. **nellie** shame about the blisters and the tiredness, and the root canal, but you managed a long walk! Go, you! It’s my friend’s birthday so my only excitement for the day will be going over to his house to drop off beery gifts, and then we’re going grocery shopping tonight. I’d better write my list

Back from a brisk walk. Some folks around here have some really, um, interesting ideas about yard decor. Like the place with the Virgin Mary statue surrounded by angel statues. Or the place with the pair of bulldog statues wearing sunglasses. It’s something. **MetalMouse** - I like my in-laws just fine, but they are old and of a certain mindset

Off on the annual Thanksgiving trip this morning. Three days in the desert with pod people. This will be the first time Tango has been left unsupervised. I hope the other cats school him as to the proper procedure, which is to just hunker down and ride it out until the fud-giver person gets back. I have someone coming in to check on them Wednesday, so that will help. Happy Thanksgiving, everybody!
