I did something to my laptop, and now when I type the letter M a 0 comes up instead. L is 3 etc … Somehow those number keys got turned on and being mildly technologically illiterate I don’t know how to turn it off. Someone help!

First off, I’m impressed that you managed to type a question about not being able to type the letter “M” without coming off like a game of charades. On your laptop’s keyboard, the numbers should be written in a different color (blue or green maybe) from the letters that they overlap. Look in the corners of your keypad for another key with wording that color. **NumLock** , **PadLock** , or something similar will be written in the same color. Press it – you may have to hold down ALT or CTRL while you do – and the keys should go back to normal.
