Fuck you American Airlines. I posted the lost item to your lost and found while we were IN THE UBER ON THE WAY HOME FROM THE AIRPORT. I gave you the flight #, and even the seat #. I gave you a complete description of the hat including the fact that it had, among others, all described, a “shitburner” button on the front. But you can’t find it and have closed my case. ---

A microrant about my critical thinking skills before the coffee kicks in. I looked at the main forums page this morning and beside the title “The BBQ Pit” I saw “August 2018 White Civil…” and my first thought was, “Oh, my god. That is the worst minirant title ever.” When I went into the pit and realized my mistake, Roseanne Roseannadanna’s ghost came and slapped me upside the head. ---

WTF Frontier? My bill goes up $20 with no immediate explanation. Live chat with your oh so helpful customer support person gets me nowhere except that they needed to update my records and it wouldn’t be complete for 24-48 hours. “Come back Sunday and we can check rates then.” My options are limited for cable and internet where I live. Comcast pissed me off a few years ago and I switched to Frontier. I’m about to switch back. ---

I’m mad, at the weather, I guess? Maybe road engineers? Perhaps this is more of a “why me” than a rant, but… It’s been pouring today. I stopped at a red light this morning, and the guy behind me tried to stop too…but his car hydroplaned, and he couldn’t pull out of the skid before he slammed into me. He just lost his front license plate, but there’s a lot of damage to my car ☹ It’ll be fixed and all, and I’m not really mad at the guy because it’s not like he was screwing around and didn’t try to stop, but December is already stressful, and I didn’t need more crap to worry about. I mean, the guy apologized for “ruining your day” but it’s not just the day that’s ruined, is it? I didn’t keep my plans for today, I won’t have use of my car for the week and will have to borrow Dad’s until I get the rental approved by my insurance company Wednesday when I have a repair/assess apt I need to take time off for unexpectedly, probably won’t have my car back in order to keep plans for Saturday…what if it snows? My car has snow tires, the rental probably won’t etc. But I’m glad no one was hurt, and that this is not a serious hardship since I will be able to get to work and all most of the week, just very inconvenient. Still, why _me_? Why did I get all the damage when I just stopped for a freaking red light like you’re supposed to? sigh. ---
