TV actors who have played opposite each other as regulars on more than one show

This is along the lines of multimediac17’s post, and I probably posted this in the other thread too…

Rik Mayall & Ade Edmondson were together in Comic Strip Presents, The Young Ones, Filthy Rich & Catflap and Bottom.

Those two were together with Nigel Planer in Comic Strip Presents, The Young Ones and Filthy, Rich & Catflap.

Those three were with Alexi Sayle in Comic Strip Presents and The Young Ones.

Everyone was together with French & Saunders in Comic Strip Presents.

Here’s another:

Barbara Bosson and Joe Spano on Murder One and Hill Street Blues.

How about some voice actors?

Jessica Walter, Judy Greer and Jeffrey Tambor, “Arrested Development” and “Archer” (the animated series that has only run (so far) 10 episodes)

H. Jon Benjamin and Melissa Bardin Galsky: “Home Movies” and “Lucy: Daughter of The Devil”

Judy Greer and Chris Parnell “Archer” and “Miss Guided”.

Several of the Arrested Development cast did voice work for Sit Down Shut Up: Will Arnett, Jason Bateman, and Henry Winkler.

I don’t know if this counts, but the productions of Alien Voices (that have been broadcast on the Science Fiction Channel, although I don’t know if they’ve done it since they became Syfy) involve a number of ex-Star Trek actors, who have appeared together as regulars in one or another of the series. But all the Alien Voices productions seems to be specials, rather than series.

Marina Sirtis and Jonathan Frakes were both on Star Trek:TNG and Gargoyles.

I would like to hear any stories you have about this if possible—Jan Hooks was one of my all-time favorite female SNL cast members, (her Sinead O’Connor was a thing of beauty) as well as one VERY attractive, seemingly very intelligent woman…

(I do remember hearing that Victoria Jackson found Jesus recently and is a hardcore born-again activist)

Amy Ryan and Idris Elba have both appeared on The Wire and The Office, but I’m not sure if they appeared together in any scene from either show.

Victoria’s been an active and enthusiastic Christian since childhood. All the stories about them (and Nora Dunn, but she occupied a much smaller space in my fantasy life…) backstabbing each other can be found in the Tom Shales book Live from New York. Jan was irritated by Victoria’s high, nasal voice. Victoria, playing the martyr (Hee hee) had a very loud revolt against Jan and Nora in front of the whole cast. Nora kept citing some “special relationship” she had with Lorne, though no evidence of it ever came to the fore and it certainly didn’t save her job after the Dice Clay episode.

I’m too lazy to do the research, but it sure seems to me that Mel Blanc, Daws Butler and June Foray were in every cartoon made between 1940 and 1975.

Bumping the thread to mention Hank Azaria as Nat Ostertag, the dog walker, and Lisa Kudrow as Ursula the waitress on Mad About You, and Lisa as Phoebe and Hank as her boyfriend David on Friends.

I know she’s only been in a few episodes, but Laurie Metcalf was in Roseanne and BBT as well.

Courteney wasn’t a regular on Scrubs. She was just a guest star for a few episodes.

Might as well throw in Brent Spiner as Data/Puck in there, too.
