Entirely a creation of Kenner to sell toys, but it was a good show, to 8-year-old me at least, and they were cool toys. ---

Backdoor pilots 1. CHiPs - “Force Seven” a secret karate fighting LAPD unit featuring Fred Dryer and Tom Reilly (Reilly would go on to play Officer Bobby Nelson the next season) 2. Married… with Children - “Top of the Heap” starring two extremely minor characters highlighted by Matt LeBlanc. Lasted all of 7 episodes, it was actually the most successful of three attempted MWC spin-offs. It was such a huge turd FOX tried bring it back again as “Vinnie & Bobby”; it too only lasted 7 episodes. ---
