The Ginsu Knife > 9. Slap Chop > 10. Showtime Rotisserie & BBQ (you really can’t do an infomercial list without a nod to Ron Popeil) Feel free to correct me if I’m wrong, but I always considered an informercial to be those 15 minute/half-hour long ‘paid advertisements’ with titles like “How to Survive the Coming Recession By Investing in Precious Metals”, or “Make A Fortune in Real Estate with No Money Down”, or “Get Free Money from the Government” with some strident pitchman like Matt Lesko _(you remember him – that guy with the question marks all over his suit?)_ … a long, drawn-out spiel, usually with testimonials like _“I used to drive an old Yugo with bald tires… Then I started following the **B.S. Snakeoil ‘Yellow Brick Road’** plan to wealth, and now my biggest issue is whether to use the Rolls, the Mercedes, or the Beemer!”_ – from people who bought the huckster’s book and followed his technique for buying gold, flipping houses, or applying for government grants. _ **-“BB”-** _ ---

I believe the aforementioned products in the list DID have those 15-30 minute presentations to a studio audience. eg. [1996 George Foreman’s Lean Mean Fat Reducing Grilling Machine Infomercial (Part 1) - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9pCy1FE89KI) ---
