How is it any different from HBO?

It’s not as if you need cable to see HBO. They have streaming only service.

So what criteria makes “TV” for you?

When Disney+ comes out, does that mean that anything that Disney releases on there is no longer TV? What if they restream a show from Disney Channel? Or does Disney Channel not count? In which case, why should HBO?

ETA: What about Amazon Prime? What about shows that aren’t available outside of streaming these days, but at one time were available over broadcast/satellite/cable? What about all the shows that have been mentioned in earlier lists that aren’t available through anything other than streaming (e.g. Fuller House)?

Are we counting only TOS, or TNG, the movie remakes and so on are allowed too?

I thought I made it clear, if it’s not on TV, if you can’t watch it on TV, it doesn’t count. My thread, my rules. If a show slips in from Netflix or similar services, I’ll allow that, but not a whole list.

Netflix is offered through my cable service, I don’t get it through the internet. I watch Netflix on my television through my cable service.

Netflix is considered an internet service, the fact you can get it through cable is irrelevant. You can get radio through cable, but I wouldn’t count that either.

Same here.
